"I think there is no world without theatre" Edward Bond There is something magical before any performance, I like the anticipation, the nerves, the little distractions the actors engage in. They are moments of suspension and of transformation. All this happened at the 2nd floor of the Yarona Mall in Alexandra Township, Johannesburg, for the play Phases Of Mirah, beautifully created by South African awarded director Ntshieng Mokgoro. There is no proper theatre in Alexandra, but theatre is really alive there.
