This series of images depicts a wanderer who finds himself alone and lost in an Otherworld, and depicts his journey to find his way back to reality. This Otherworld is similar to ours yet also unfamiliar, and sometimes unsettling despite its beauty. This is a world where we see the darkness that lurks within us, where what we see and feel is shaped by our perceptions and our desires, our fears and insecurities, and our preconceived notions of ourselves - however dangerous or false they may be. I am constantly intrigued by how our experiences in life are so individual and how they bias the way in which we perceive the world and our present situation. They create an internal vision and dialog that can be difficult to escape. This is what the Otherworld is. It is, for each of us, a world of our own making that becomes very real to us, and which can blind us to reality. Sometimes we can become lost and consumed by such a world and completely disconnected from reality. The danger is when we do not even realise it.
