Ship graveyard in Chittagong

One of the most polluted places in the world is considered to be ” the ship graveyard” in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Every year, more than two hundred ships find their last refuge here and provide jobs for local residents. All decommissioned ships are taken apart until the last screw. It is made in appalling conditions and for a ridiculous reward, but due to the lack of alternatives, people agree to such work.
