A series of images that have been shot at the municipal stadium of my hometown.
Four years ago a change in my work led me to have my mornings free and the daily habit to walk around the stadium made me take shots with my camera instead of improving time and breaking lap records.
Trying not to listening and thinking of my pulses, my eyes focused on the track and the lanes. What are all those cracks and holes? I started to find a purpose while walking, do other athletes watch this too? I had my camera on while walking and off while running.
I made some friendships and the talk was about the bad economy and of course the unacceptable condition of the track and the stadium.
Discussion changed after a while, no one complained anymore and realized then how adaptive we are to all situations.
Everyone stoically exercised as they could with a feeling of being thankful for all the little things we have.
In the end everyone was happy into his mediocrity since even using below average facilities gained their fitness and health.
