Rice Fields

It should have been just a long holiday. But the people, the colors, the food and a lot of other astonishing things suggested me that it could have been more that a simple holiday. Something that I'll keep inside of me for all the rest of my life. The happiness and the neighborliness of the Vietnamese are impetuous and drags you in another dimension. It was easy for me to understand that it was a perfect opportunity to tell a story with my camera. Sapa is "a world in the world", with it's minorities, their habits and the strong influence that China had on it in the past. I focused mainly on the children after seeing in them a strong force of will, aimed to reach a better lifestyle without forgetting their roots.
