The current geological state of the planet is now defined as Anthropocene. Humans have altered more than 50% of the earths land, building cities, clearing fields, damming rivers. We are consuming resources on the worlds surface, changing the planet rapidly. Right now, one species alone is driving these changes and what’s worse is we know we are doing it. Humans have gone from being participants in the earth, to a dominant feature. We are currently living in a permanently changed world. A world that is Man-Altered.
This Series explores the interaction between The Natural and The Man-made. It is a visual investigation of the world in which live in. Depicting the transformation of urban areas. The images take an objective approach, recording how we, as human-beings, transform and shape the environment we are living in.
