Escapades Out On The Q Train The “Escapades Out On The Q Train” project celebrates the diversity of New York City, while examining the individual and collective personalities of the citizens who manage to coexist peacefully with an often crowded, confined space. In an era when the concept of diversity is under attack both nationally and internationally, it’s a loving reminder of the rich beauty of the human race and all of its struggles, joys, quirks and dreams. As we travel daily, the story plays out in never-ending ways. My aim for this project is to ultimately arrive at a selection of 75-100 images which would then be organized into an exhibit to travel nationally and internationally. The photos represented here were taken over a period from 2017 through 2018 and the project is ongoing, almost daily.
