Locations

Karen Doubleday, John Harrison, Mary Harrison, PC Fiona Bone, PC Nicole Hughes and Mark Short; All names that relate to my work in a horrific way. Using documentary techniques I have unearthed the numerous murder locations around Manchester that have witnessed unthinkable acts. Photographing these locations wasn't enough, so I pushed the presentational idea in order to portray a harsh reality. The images are developed onto glass in order to display the inherent transparency and ignorance cast upon these locations and events. Daily life seems to pass by these locations without a second glance. I hope my work illustrates this unnerving reality.
