Nature Envelops

The series I am submitting as my work sample is called 'Nature Envelops.' The content created and submitted is significant since it is my first attempt of proving that nature is art. The goal of this current ongoing body of work is displayed through un-peopled imagery depicting what is often overlooked if not photographed. Wherever we are---whether in an urban environment or a natural setting, nature envelops. In its dynamic, capricious, and ever-changing states, nature presides. Nature envelops our existence. We, on the other hand, reside within it. This project is dedicated to displaying nature’s awe-inspired traits, emotions and moods. Just as nature presents itself in an active state, the project is categorized with descriptive verbs linking nature’s actions. ‘Nature Envelops’ is an illustration of my admiration for its prevailing powerful cycles; thus, a sense of enlightenment. With its intentional redundancies of the prelude ‘nature..,’ nature envelops is dedicated to my favorite powerful active verbs prevalently found when enveloped in nature. Nature as an artistic medium is an anomaly, which must be showcased and proven worthy of depiction.
