Fortunately, the ocean is minutes away from where I live and I love to sit for long periods of time watching waves and subtle nuances of water and earth. I appreciate black and white's simplicity of form and light. The challenge and discovery in making simple compositional elements in black and white deepens my personal meanings to nature.
