Error / Portraits
Error is an unintentional collection of analog photo failures, a series of wrong portraits.
Along different projects I have been working on, I slowly realized that my mistakes were becoming a project itself.
Wrong exposition, bad developing, not centered scans, scratch and dust, started to take the shape of an unexpected story. The errors are now so many that they can be even divided in different groups.
The selection of eight images I am presenting to LensCulture is the first of these groups: failed portraits.
Taken along the years 2012-2018, the intent was to capture people in their everyday life. Eventually, they don’t show anything of that.
