Outhshine cancer warriors

The outshine is a series of a celebration of survivorship, life, humanity, and love that bring to the life of thousands of emotions in the hearts of those affected by cancer. It’s a cancer awareness campaign to expose the deeper fragility of humanity from which unbelievable strength arises. For cancer patients, it can often be difficult to find a reason to smile. Depression, stress, and fatigue brought on by cancer treatment are some of the factors patients face daily. But even in the toughest times, it's important to maintain hope. This series featured 9 cancer survivors who share their inspiring story on what makes them smile, especially on tough days. We hope the story that they shared, will give other people a reason to smile, too. This beautiful series was completed within 2 months in January 2019 in Malaysia. Taken with simple studio setup with 50mm lens on DSLR camera.
