essentia

Essentia is the latin word for "essence". During the last few years, I engaged in portait photography (as a non-professional and autodidact photographer) with the aim to find a way to represent both myself and the people who either I love the most or crossed my path even if only for one day, leaving a trail. In a way, I am trying to represent their essence, the way I see it. These pictures are the ones with the strongest relevance to me, either because of their intimacy (three of them depict my boyfriend, my sister and myselft, respectively) or because they remind me of some very important encounters that took place during my travels.
