The Faces of Global Destruction

These images individually display unique environmental issues the Earth is currently suffering, but together they create an overall view of human's negative impact on the environment. I was motivated to create images that convey meaning by using my skills in special effects makeup. Through personifying these environmental issues onto people, my hope was to generate a more lasting emotion in people's mind. All of these issues are caused by humans, directly or indirectly. We only have one Earth, and people need to understand the harm we are causing it.
