Submission

My intent is to explore and document the physical and emotional changes that a child experiences in the process of becoming a woman. I am using a unique perspective that will offer access to a world that’s is usually unseen. I believe a secure environment, when the body is not shielded with clothing, allow young women to become themselves. It is my believe that the definition of security is a place or moment when the subject is so completely at ease that one goes beyond the physical and begins to reveal their inner soul. My intention is not to violate the young women’s privacy, but to allow the viewer into a world where adolescents are secure with their changing bodies. The subject is safe, secure and confident, a rare occurrence time of transition.
