The Place In Between

Photogragher Andi Sapey explores the themes of Travel, Journeys and the sense of Place within the landscape of four different Country's, Japan, Iceland, Greece and Uk (East Anglia). This series of Landscapes he explores very different genre he is less know for. Andi normally works with editorial narratives involving people and taken their portraits. This series of work is more a personal insight of journeys which he has taken over the last six years whilst going on a travel trips or walks through countryside of East Anglia.. "I really enjoying travelling or finding new places to go to, but the actual the journey itself is more exciting most of the time, than the final destination intended. The place in-between looks at place or the scenery of the journey we sometimes over look or find mundane, sometimes we just want to get to the place too quickly and forget about the in between place.” Roads, pathways or tracks made by humans, animals or nature features through each of the photos taken in this series of images, this gives the landscape many natives and not just Andi’s.
