Intimité burlesque

The project "Intimité Burlesque" is like a peeping tom view through a key-hole into the intimate world of the tattoo aficionado. The images have a vast and flawlessly timeless quality to them that, inexorably, lure the viewer in. The leitmotif, or under-lining thread being; a glimpse at the tattoo bearers and their choice of the symbolic; the indelible language of art, etched into skin. This project is part of an ongoing work. This work has been shot all over Europe as well as in my studio on top of the Swiss mountains. It has been published in various magazines and newspapers as well as been exposed in museums and galleries. It is aimed at culminating into a series of books and exhibits surrounding this many faceted theme.
