Pu Ying Huang is a Texas based photographer currently located in Houston. She received a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and a minor in Communications while attending the University of Texas at Austin. During her time in college, Pu was heavily involved with the award winning student paper The Daily Texan both as a photographer and editor.
After an internship with Austin's NPR affiliate KUT/KUTX, she continued her photography work as a freelancer and in pursuing personal projects. In her personal work, Pu is interested in human behavior within various cultural contexts and the forging of identity from different environments, backgrounds and collective experiences.
