I am a self-taught photographer living in Budapest, Hungary.
I started taking pictures with a digital camera, but I realized soon that I am interested in analogue photography very much. So when I bought my first Polaroid Land camera I was very excited about what will happen. After getting Fuji instant film, and changing the old battery equipment I could not wait to make some experiences with my „new” polaroid camera. I can tell that it was a huge surprise that after making my first shot this old fashioned camera from the 70’ worked as well I have never thought. Since then I am enthusiast taking shots with my polaroid cameras. I want to continue exploring any kind of instant cameras and films as SX-70, 600 and so on.
For me, photography especially portraits is a kind of time travel into which I want to involve the viewers. I realized that photography gives me a huge liberty to experiment. I love to make experiments and learn new techniques as an autodidact.
Before taking a photograph series I figure out, and also create the headdresses, hats, and all the other accessories with my own hands. I think by using this vintage cameras, my technique, and the accessories give a vintage or rather a nostalgic feeling and appearance which characterizes my photos.
