I work as a consulting archaeologist and have been based in London for many years. My work has enabled me to experience and understand the history, development and evolution of places in a particularly unique way, which I believe is reflected in my photography.
My photography is derived from a simple need for each image to say as much as possible, and preferably with as little human interaction (within the image) as possible.
I use a 1950s Leica M2 with a 35mm summicron lens, and a digital light meter, to capture all my images.
