Biography
Sami Parkkinen (b. 1974) is a Finnish photographer and artist. Sami Parkkinen ́s photographs and sculptures investigate human consciousness and the need for a redifination of society and humanity. His works have been exhibited in various galleries and museums around Europe. Including National Portrait Gallery, London, Circulation(s) festival, Paris, Finnish Museum of Photography, Helsinki, Taidehalli / Kunstahalle, Helsinki, Anna Akhmatova museum, St Petersburg, and Roctock Kunstahalle, Germany. His works can be found in puplic and private collections.
