Since I was 18 years old, I have worked in many professions, and eventually I got a Bachelor in Arabic Language and Literature. However, photography and documentary film making have always been my passion and my way to get through life’s difficulties.
Artistic photography, for me, is a way to discover my inner self, and the binoculars through which I’d like to see the world, always with a fresh perspective.
My main subject of photography has been always related to people although I’m a nature lover; therefore, portraits, kids, & street photography are my speciality.
My first short documentary film "Ala Al Tawakul" (Reliance) was released in 2013. The film has been officially chosen by Raindance Festival in the same year, and my second short documentary film "On the Edge of Waiting" is in the post-production stage.
"On the Edge of Waiting" is about a father's letters and mother's diary written to their unborn child, during a time when they were unexpectedly separated because of the Syrian revolution and consequently trapped in dreams and the uncertain future.
