About Sandra Chen Weinstein
Sandra's work focuses on documentary photography emphasizing social identity, culture, and minorities. She has dedicated long-term projects on the lives of women, Minority, LGBTQ community, refugee and the American pop culture.
She has received many national and international awards including CENTER Director's Choice Award First Place 2020, First Place Will Creeks for SHELTER 2020,1st prize Kuala Lumpur Photoawards-Portraits Prize 2017, 1st prize-winner of Portraits 2017; 1st Prize The Robert Cornelius Portrait Award, and a two-time winner of the Julia Margaret Cameron Award; National Geographic Magazine and The Conservation Award - Culture.
