I am a self-taught documentary photographer based in Montpellier, in the south of France. I received a master degree in sociology from EHESS (Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales) and a master degree in political sciences from Sciences-Po Paris. I have attended several workshops in documentary photography with Jane Evelyn Atwood, Denis Dailleux, Jean-Christian Bourcart and Cedric Gerbehaye.
My work focuses on family and intimate settings, mainly in working-class situations. My first personal work titled "p.s. : I am writing to you from the seagull beach", realized during five years, from 2012 to 2016, was about a beach and the travellers coming there every year. My second personal work titled "Ilona and Maddelena" is about the daily life of two pre-teens sisters living in a poor neighbourhood of Montpellier.
I'm interested in long-term projects and in immersive methods.
My work has been exhibited in galleries and festivals in France and internationally (French national library François Mitterrand, Getty Image Gallery, Manifesto, Festival Map …).
I also contribute to national and international magazines (Le Monde, Libération, Marie Claire, L'Obs, Internazionale, De Morgen, Financial Times Weekend magazine…).
