Since graduating from the University for the Creative Arts in 2012, I have been documenting the English landscape with a particular interest within the politics of food and the hunting industry. I am interested in the discussion of whether we choose a willed blindness to the effects of meat production and consumption. My work looks to provide an unbiased look into the realities of the food industry, allowing viewers the chance to reassess any preconceived ideas.
A major part of the narrative of my work is the challenge of remaining neutral. My primary objective is to educate myself. I aim to look past food propaganda and stereotypes to discover the truth. I see myself as a part of the audience and my aim is to share my experience with a wider crowd.
