SH/Sadler is a collaboration between Julia SH and Nic Sadler. Our goal is to create dramatic images, force the viewer to re-evaluate the concept of beauty and challenge the prevailing aesthetic.
Julia SH holds a BA and an MFA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martin's and Slade School of Fine art in London. She currently lives in Los Angeles where she works as a a photographer and editor. In 2019 she was awarded the Julia Margaret Cameron Award for Photographer of the Year as well as IPA’s Fine Art Photographer of the Year.
Nic Sadler was born in the UK but currently lives in Los Angeles where he still lives and works in a variety of disciplines from photography to film-making & product design. He won and Emmy for his camera viewfinder in 2018.
