Shahab Naseri was born in Khonj, Iran, in 1987. He left his education in the early years of the university. He has a degree in photography from the Iranian Youth Cinema Society and also the CBT coaching certificate. His first self-taught photography experience began in 2012 and he has been more active in social documentary. His first individual exhibition was held in Sanandaj in 2016.
Shahab has taught photography and held photography workshops in some institutions in the west of Iran. He was one of the winners of Lensculture's Emerging Talents 2018 and the winner of many other Contests such as Timothy Allen Photography Scholarship, WIN Photo, Movo Photography, Allard Prize, Muhammad Ali Center, MEI Photography, CGAP Photo and the 78th International Photographic Salon of Japan. His works have been featured in the Siena International Photo Awards 2018, the Sony World Photography Award 2018 as well as in HIPA Festival 2017. In 2019 participated in international group exhibitions including MAMA Modern Art Museum, Italian Cultural association dotART, Paraxis Gallery, Center for Fine Art Photography and PH21 Gallery.
For some years, Shahab has been active in contemporary photography. His works are rather considering the issues regarding humanitarian society and insists on further reactions. He believes that Man is origin of all events and interactions over their existence. His perspective towards imagery is emerged through cultural experiences alongside his personal insights. He believes each and every artist shares a fair deal of affection for one can share their new envision with owns world.
