Simon earned a Bachelor of Science, Photographic Imaging in 1998, and in 2003 a Master of Fine Arts, Photography Emphasis both from The University of Utah. He has taught at Salt Lake Community College, Utah Valley University, and currently is an Assistant Professor (Lecturer), in the Art/Art History Department at The University of Utah.
Simon works as a freelance photographer and artist in Salt Lake City. He provides photography and creative services for advertising, editorial, and fine art applications. He is making photos regularly in his studio, or on location.
Simon grew up in Salt Lake City and Bountiful Utah. He likes to spend time with his friends and family. He lives for music, guitar, film, literature, good food, travel, and motorcycles. Simon currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.
