Simon Brown is a renowned interior and people photographer based in London.
His work is rooted in both Art and Journalism and for over 30 years he still contributes to leading magazines & newspapers, book publishers, charities, design & advertising companies as well as exhibition his personal work.
A love of working with natural light and the interior landscape led him to develop a style which is reminiscent of that of the Dutch masters of the 17th century. The same light and shade, the same depth, richness of colour and acute attention to detailing is there, producing work that is both sensually romantic and very contemporary.
An affection for Ireland and an attraction to quirky houses of past centuries led to the publication of “Romantic Irish Homes” followed by “Romantic English Homes” and “Romantic French Homes”.
Projects that he is presently working on include Ethiopia and Romania for the Global Heritage Fund UK.
He lives in London with his wife plus three children, Lois, Milo & Finbar, and dog, Otto.
