Sonia Madrigal (1978) lives and works in Nezahualcoyotl City. Her work explores, from a situated experience, distinct visual narratives to reflect, in personally and collective ways, themes around territory, gender and violence. Her work has been included in biennials and exhibitions across Europe, Latin America and North America, and has been published in books, journals and magazines such as Harper's, Aperture, the Academic Council of the United Nations System (ACUNS) and The Guardian.
