Illness, suffering, and the agonizing anticipation of rebirth.
Soverato, Calabria, Italy 2026

Focal glomerulosclerosis is a disabling condition characterized by chronic and irreversible kidney failure. At present, there are no truly effective treatments. The only possible interventions are dialysis and kidney transplantation.
Through the presentation of this project, the aim is to raise awareness among viewers about a universal condition of suffering that can nevertheless find relief in the idea of rebirth.
A rebirth made possible only through an act of infinite love: organ donation.
