A photographer and musician who travelled extensively and lived in different countries, Davina uses her multi cultural background and experiences to take the viewer or listener on a journey, seeking to inspire and capture beauty wherever life takes her. Davina, originally from Switzerland, is currently living in Cape Town, South Africa, with her husband and three boys.
Statement
Children move through the world in different ways. They are explorers, observers, and storytellers, constantly discovering possibilities hidden within ordinary places.
This photo explores the dialogue between children and their surroundings, the moments of curiosity which unfold while their attention lingers where adults often look away; their imagination transforming the familiar into something new. I love the way children encounter the world with openness, wonder, and resilience.
This image reflects on the universal human desire to explore, connect, and find meaning in the spaces we inhabit.
