Born in Kobe, Japan. Based in Tokyo since 2000, and after studio work, she started her career as a photographer. With her primary focus on beauty biz photos, she photographs for various advertisements and magazines. Femininity in simplicity and powerfulness is what she is good at. She is always conscious of expressing the beauty and strength of the subject, and as she regards the light as one of the accents to make the subject look attractive, she prefers a photographic technique of ‘creating light’ by mixing artificial lighting even in natural light photography. She also takes interests in textures of various materials and animals as well, and in animal photography in particular, she concentrates in the expression from perspectives different from nature photography.
