Tania Coates is an artist based in Mid Wales who works predominantly in photography. As well as being held in various private collections, her work has been exhibited in London, Brussels, Berlin, Paris and Dublin. She completed her BA in fine art at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design and subsequent MA in photography at Westminster.
Tania’s work is an exploration of mankind’s interactions with our landscape and environment. Looking at natural and man made topography, with an acknowledgement of Burke’s theory of The Sublime, Tania examines our links, preconceptions and interactions with our transient and metamorphic surroundings.
