Tatiana is a contemporary photographer and multidisciplinary artist. She was born in a small town in Ecuador and moved to the USA with her family when she was 18 years old. Some aspects of her work has been characterized by digital manipulation of images in order to integrate a fantasy context that suggests a way of meditation, while inviting her viewers to blend their imagination with her work. As a photographer, her subject matter is the human condition. Tatiana’s work centers on the intimate intersection between humans and nature, taking as her focal point the cultural diversity and identity of every human she engages with, as well as, taking into account the world we live in and its environmental impact. As a visual artist her artwork has been inspired by repetitive patterns found in nature, the entire universe, and the geometrical and structural patterns that exist in all life forms. For Tatiana, art is a journey of self-discovery, connection, understanding and transformation. The purpose is to create images that tell a story in our conscious universe by remembering our ancient rhythms and reflecting our essence as humans. Every photograph or piece of artwork Tatiana creates has a connection with nature as a way to show the line that exists between humans and the spiritual experiences in one’s life.
