Vivian Poey is Professor of Photography and Integrative studies at Lesley University. She earned an M.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design and an M.Ed. from Harvard University. As an artist and educator, Vivian works to reach multiple communities. Her work has been exhibited in art spaces as well as in public schools and other educational settings in the US and abroad. Vivian has published books and essays on arts and education with a focus on bilingual learners and is the recipient of the Massachusetts Art Education Association Higher-Educator of the Year Award.
