My first artistic love was photography. I studied dark room techniques at Dean College while I was working on my Degree in Business Management. After a decade of taking photographs and developing them in my own darkroom, I applied to The University of Connecticut to further my interest. After I enrolled in my first painting class, however I changed my major to painting and graduated in 2010. After the birth of my son I went back to photography. I have been learning new ways of working with the camera and I started to make photographs of everyday life. and developing these photos in Adobe, Lightroom instead of the dark room that I used in the past. This has been a rewarding journey.
