My name is Yaz Fatos. Coming from a multicultural background, I am very sensitive to cultural diversity, which I consider to be a great wealth. I am not a professional photographer and I have no academic background in this field. I started street photography in 2015 during my first trip to Burma. Despite having already travelled to several other countries in the region, it was a shock. I immediately felt an almost irrepressible need to connect with people and their environment. Photography was what allowed me to create this bond, to seize fragments of life, to draw energy from reality. I haven't stopped since.
