Yiannis Galanakis studied at the Physics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Since 2012, his artistic focus has shifted into the realm of digital photo editing and compositing, adding a new dimension to his creative endeavors.
His photographic work has been presented in a variety of contexts, including group and solo art exhibitions, as well as recognized international competitions and festivals, with awards and publications in international art magazines and books.
He has published three poetry collections ("ζύγια@δεινά.com", Gavriilidis Publications 2018, "Fake News", Pigi Publications 2020, "Αντίστροφη Μέτρηση", self-published 2025).
