I remember that my first urging will to make pictures appeared when I had the luck, still adolescent, to make a trip in the Ténéré desert. Later I mostly made nature and city pictures with my argentic camera. I'm mostly a self taught photographer.
Always curious about everything, nowadays my personal work is mostly about swing dancing, nature and travel.
I photograph the swing dancers and musicians since years. I love to do it, because they have so much energy and emotions to share. It's also a way for me to express what I deeply feel as a dancer myself. This part of my work, on the long term, is a modest contribution to the testimony of the development of this historical, artistic, musical and dancing current that the swing continues to be today.
Light eX Machina" is a reference to the "Deus ex machina" of ancient greek theater. Used for the first "special effects", the improbable, the unexpected ... that will make our emotions emerge.
