About AnneCharlotte Guinot
AnneCharlotte Guinot was born in Belgium, lived in France and then moved to Montreal in North America where she had first a carrier as an IT engineer. As photography had always been a very strong passion for her since her youth, she decided to devote one entire year to study photography professionally.
Beside the fact that her love of black and white treatment is really strong, she also like to use color, especially when the color has its own purpose and that it serves her artistic intention. She loves to explore textures and to play with strong contrasts. With her pictures, she would like to touch people's heart, to share the love and compassion for other humans and the beauty of the world we live in.
Her favorite quote: "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly... what is essential is invisible to the eye" Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
Beginning of 2018, she moved to Mexico, where she presented her exposition "Mexican Textures" at the Quebec Delegation of Mexico City in June 2018, an invitation to travel in this amazing country. In parallel, inspired by all the strong emotions she was feeling when she arrives in Mexico, she worked on her new serie "Red Blood" . This serie questions ourselves about the place given to violence in a such beautiful and amazing country.
