An all-new world-class photography fair is opening this week — Photo London! Centrally located at the grand Somerset House on the Thames, Photo London offers a vibrant celebration of photography in all of its forms. The world’s finest galleries will be there to sell to collectors, with some startlingly fresh work by established masters as well as many new and emerging talents.

LensCulture’s editors first offered a highly selective preview of some of the work that excited us the most. In that selection, we gathered a wide-ranging array that showcased the breadth and depth of what will be on display.

We next put together a group of artists whose work is inspired by the planet. These photos included some of the most stunning nature and landscape photography on show at the fair as well as some unexpected, conceptually creative work.

Here, we have put our focus on fine art. You’ll find inspiring interpretations of beauty and artists who are pushing photography to its expressive, aesthetic limits. From the giants (William Klein, Saul Leiter) to over a dozen cutting-edge emerging artists, we hope there’s something in this slideshow that touches your spirit and allows you to view the world with fresh eyes.
