A woman documentary photographer and story-teller, based in Istanbul, who mainly focuses on intimate stories.
I've been studied architecture in Istanbul Technical University, where my photography journey has been started.
I've shot my first documentary series on seasonal agricultural workers, in 2012. Afterwards, other series on nightlife in Istanbul, urban transformation, places that I've travelled have come on and on.
Then I've finished Photography as a masters degree in Marmara University. Also, doing workshops on basics of photography and principles of documentary photography. Moreover, I've directed two short movies and worked as a cinematographer in several short movies.
I love shooting documentaries and use my camera as a key to open other people’s doors. I choose the lives in which I find sincerity and truth.
