Danilo Christidis is a photographer and visual artist.
His photographs were exhibited in Brazil and other countries.
He was awarded in two occasions for Fundação Nacional das Artes (FUNARTE) with the “Estante Pública” and the “Exorcismos Urbanos” projects.
He was part of 9th Mercosul Biennal Arts in 2013 and the 6th Argentina Biennal of Photography. In the 8th Porto Alegre International Festival of Photography he was a chosen member for the curatorial council
For seven years he’ve being working in producing images for a book about the Mbyá Guarani ethnicity along with Vherá Poty, a Mbyá Guarani chief and photographer, which was taught by Danilo how to photograph. The book will be released in 2015/1.
More recently his production has shifted towards a self biographic and fictional subjects, utilizing different kinds techniques and approaches.
