I studied Anthropology and in all the field research I've always used the camera because I am convinced that images have the strength to tell the complexity of reality often more than words.
I strongly believe that the images are semantic containers, the photos are always dense structures of meaning.
With Nahid Rezashateri in 2018 I founded the collective SARAB, which deals with photographic projects, visual anthropology, short films and media art works, with particular attention to the themes of identity, memory and landscape as a cultural process.
Some of my shots have been used for anthropological articles in specialized magazines, essays, museum installations and have been published in photographic magazines:
C41 - Yogurt - Dodho- Private - Plateform - Positive-Edge of Humanit- Kiosk der Demockratie - Dialoghi Mediterranei - Knack- Zirart
I am the winner of a scholarship at the SCUOLA ROMANA DI FOTOGRAFIA E CINEMA
