Görkem Keser (b. 1986) is a street and documentary photographer currently based in Datça, Turkey. A 2010 graduate of Istanbul Bilgi University with a degree in Media and Communication Systems, he works as a freelance photographer, bridging the gap between academic communication and visual storytelling.
In his street photography, Keser pursues pure reality. His focus is not on capturing a merely "interesting" frame, but on documenting the raw spirit of the moment as it unfolds. He views the camera as a tool for witnessing the unadulterated essence of life, moving beyond geographical boundaries to capture the universal human experience.
His personal and experimental projects delve into deeper philosophical territories, exploring themes of existence, antinatalism, and the internal chaos of human being. His work, which has been featured in various exhibitions and prestigious publications, invites the viewer to move beyond observation and confront the stark, often chaotic nature of existence.
