Visual Artist Jose Espínola works in both still and motion photography. Jose's Academic background in Communications combined with a Degree in Graphic Design and Art Direction had led him to find a strong visual aesthetic that smooths between Documentary and Fine Art Photography.
In his work he uses the raw immediacy of the images as a cognitive tool, exploring the correlation between erotism and the social environment. Using collective signifiers-memories, to create compositions that create strong imagery that reflects society and ourselves.
Driven to find stories where does not seems to be one, with a solid vision of aesthetics. Jose establishes some kind of mutual understanding with his subjects and the atmospheres with captivating empathy, hunting the public intimacy, evocating the private, and empowering genuine sexuality.
