Kleopatra Haritou was born in Athens, Greece. She has studied Photography in NY, Athens and London (MA in Image&Communications @ GOLDSMITH’S College), under the supervision of Ian Jeffrey. She has realized more than 10 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. Her large scale solo exhibition “Prosfygika” (“The refugee settlements of Alexandra’s Av.”) was presented at the BENAKI Museum, at the International Comics Festival of Athens along with the original sketches of David Lloyd, “V for Vendeta”.and to museums around Greece. “Prosfygika” attracted in total 20.000 visitors and she was voted by the Greek population as best Photographer of the year (Athens Voice awards).
In 2016 “ACROBATS” she presented ten installations in the heart of Athens, after working with homeless and drug addicts of Athens during the financial crisis.
Her new edition “Entry-Exodus” will be published in 2022 with the support of Onassis Foundation.
