Born in 1985 in Japan . Akashika graduated from the Kansai University Department of Chinese Studies in 2008 and from Osaka Visual Art College, Department of Photography in 2010. She received the Canon New Cosmos of Photography Grand Prize in 2011 and Visual Arts Photo Award Grand Prize in 2012.
