Max Kandhola is a British Punjabi Sikh, a renowned fine art photographer and academic. He is a Principal Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University. Max Kandhola was represented by Barbara Greene Fine Art in Chelsea New York. He was the recipient of the prestigious Light Work Artist in Residency (AIR) in 1996 and 2002. He has published 4 monographs and has exhibited his photographic work internationally, engaging in complex visual stories and the politics of race and representation. His photography is held in major public and private collections in England, Europe, America and India, including, The Deutsche Bank Collection and Government Art Collection UK and represented by PhotoInk, Delhi, India.
